Servo Drive Repair
Board Repair Servo Drive Repair Exchange Program

In order to ensure quality and longevity of the Servo Drive Module the following rebuild procedure has been established.

Servo Drive Six Phase Rebuild Program

bulletPHASE 1: Inspection and Evaluation

Servo drives are shipped to the J & D Enterprises Repair Facility and tagged per customer information.  Items are inspected for missing components and physical damage.  Servo Drives are determined to be repairable or not during inspection. Those drives to be repaired proceed to Phase 2.   The customer is notified of units deemed "Unrepairable".

bulletPHASE 2: Disassembly and Cleaning

Servo Drive units are disassembled and thoroughly cleaned, making certain that all foreign debris is removed from the unit.   Conformal coating is removed from circuit board surfaces.

bulletPHASE 3: Component Replacement

High failure components are replaced, which helps assure reliable long term Servo Drive operation.

bulletPHASE 4:  Testing and Troubleshooting

Servo Drive units are reassembled for the testing phase on the "Servo Drive Simulator", which tests all functions of the Servo Drive unit.  Any repairs are made at this time.

bulletPHASE 5: Burn In / Run In

Servo Drive units are "Run In" on the Simulator for approximately two hours to assure that a quality rebuild has been made.

bulletPHASE 6: Final Assembly and Testing

Servo Drive units are disassembled, new conformal coatings applied, and reassembled.   Units are "Final Tested" on the Simulator prior to shipment.
